Letter from Pastor Kevin
Dear LifePoint Church Family,
Many of you have wondered when we would be gathering again in person for worship services. After much discussion with the Board and Elders of LifePoint Church, consulting with local authorities, and now with a Presidential declaration that churches are to be considered essential, the decision was made to resume in person services starting May 31, 2020. I know many of you are excited to hear this news. The past couple of months have been difficult to navigate with the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, and when your normal support system of fellow believers is not there, it adds more stress to already trying times.
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what measures we are implementing to help slow the spread of this virus as we all work together to help each other stay healthy.
We will be having two services ( 9:00 & 10:30 am) to minimize crowding. Both services will be identical and will be “Family Style” meaning we will keep kids in service and not have Kid's Church available for the first couple of weeks. We will be having a portion of the service geared just for kids (You adults will like it too!)
We will have masks and gloves available for you should you choose to use them.
Please be mindful of social distancing recommendations as you are seated. (Four chairs is about six feet)
We will have an overflow section available should you feel the need to sit outside of the main Sanctuary but still want to be on campus.
Greeters will be waving instead of shaking hands as they greet you.
If you fall into a higher risk category or do not feel comfortable to attend a service in person at this time, please enjoy the service in real time online as we will be live streaming both services. We will continue to produce our recorded LifePoint Online experience so you can share with friends or watch again at you convenience.
God bless you and I look forward to seeing each of you on the 31st as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday together. As always, we are here for you and love and appreciate you all!
In Christ's Love,
